Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 70, 1970) is a renowned American actor. Melina Kanakaredes is best known for playing detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's drama Providence. Also, she was praised for her breakthrough television debut role in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap drama Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. She is reportedly developing a film adaptation of the autobiography written by writer Elisabeth K. Kubler-R The Wheel of Life with Vlas as well as Charley Parlapanides. They were the two writers of the film Immortals. The actress is also working on a new show called Gods & Heroes.
