Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American Actress. After her debut on film with 1983's Bad Boys she became known as a member of the Brat Pack of actors and starred as a character in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). In recognition of her role of Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998) Sheedy received the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Ally Sheedy is an American writer and actress. She started her film career at the beginning of the 1980s when she appeared in the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she received a lot of praise. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film where other actors were also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. In 1985, after her success in a film, the actress appeared on screen in The Breakfast Club - a comedy/drama. The film by John Hughes called The Breakfast Club is considered as among high school cinema's best films. Although it was a budget of only one million dollars, the film's revenues exceeded $50 million. When she was working on this her first appearance on television was made with CBS Schoolbreak. The show targeted teenagers that began to air in April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues were some other television shows that she appeared in. A few of her most recent appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse an action film featuring a superhero in which she plays an appearance. Sheedy received numerous awards in 2005 due to her performances. She also was honored by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
