Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. The co-owner is Crossfit Reykjavik where she also runs and coaches. Annie has the distinction of being only one female ever to win her place in the CrossFit Games two times. The CrossFit Games were her second place CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir is a famous Icelanders CrossFit bodybuilder, athlete and media star. She became famous for becoming the first woman to be the first person who taken home two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012. Also, she was credited with winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie together with her siblings and parents, were born and raised in Reykjavik Iceland. A sports enthusiast and fitness enthusiast since the age of five, she was involved in numerous school competitions and received numerous medals. In 2009, she participated at her very first CrossFit match in California. Her performance was impressive in those competitions. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. She stands at 5'7" and she weighs around 77.5kg. Annie began her CrossFit journey in 2009 California. Annie was able to do admirably in her first games. She was among the top 10 of over 70. Although she did not win one of the championships but she did finish in the eleventh spot. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's instruction. After one year of CrossFit Games, Annie won her debut CrossFit Games. Her dominating performance made her a winner of the title. Annie has been the first woman who has ever won successive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to her extraordinary performance. In 2014, she also won a gold medal. Also, in 2021 she was awarded the bronze. At present, Annie works as a trainer and coach in Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie is in high demand as an athlete has been featured in commercials to promote sports products, like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Laboratory Transparent Labs among others. Alongside this, she has a self-titled Youtube channel with around thousand viewers where her diet family videos and travel videos are posted.
